Kirby graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Biochemistry degree in 1987 and as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. From 1991 to 1994 Dr. Pasloske was in private practice in Vancouver, BC. In 1994, Dr. Pasloske entered the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph and completed the program to receive the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Science in the discipline of Veterinary Clinical Pharmacology. From 1997 to 2000 he served as a veterinary research specialist at Merck and Co. Ltd in New Jersey, working in drug discovery and development. He was recognized as a Diplomate of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology in 1999. In 2000, Dr. Pasloske became group leader of a pharmacology team at Elanco Animal Health in Indiana. In 2003, he accepted the position of Research Program Manager with Jurox Animal Health located in New South Wales, Australia. In June 2013 Kirby returned to his country of origin, Canada. Kirby is currently Director and Global Technical Specialist for Jurox.
