Our newest Think Anesthesia webinar titled “Cardiovascular Monitoring” was constructed specifically for veterinary professionals who monitor patients undergoing sedation or general anesthesia. The presentation focuses on conducting, measuring and evaluating electrocardiography (ECG) and blood pressure. Special attention will be given to selecting and applying the right equipment to obtain accurate waveforms and identifying abnormal waveforms. Causes and treatments of abnormal ECGs and blood pressure measurements will also be covered. Upon completion of this webinar, participants should be able to instrument their patients correctly to monitor both ECGs and blood pressure. They should also be able to recognize and treat the more common abnormal ECGs and blood pressure readings in their patients.
