Join us for the complementary second hour of analgesia discussion, Think Anesthesia®: Local Regional Analgesic Options. In this presentation, Amanda M. Shelby, RVT, VTS (Anesthesia & Analgesia) will discuss how local regional techniques provide analgesia along the pain pathway, the various local anesthetics and adjunctive medications used in these applications along with detailed descriptions and instructional videos on how to complete nerve blocks in various anatomical locations. We conclude this hour with a review of the pain management of three case examples without the use of full mu-agonist opioids. Upon completion of the webinar, the viewer will understand the benefits of local regional analgesia, how to select and perform the appropriate nerve block and what medications to consider for the most effective analgesia. This presentation is RACE approved for 1 CE credit for both veterinarians and technicians. This webinar is available for on-demand viewing at www.thinkanesthesia.education.
